COMPLEX SILICATE OF RARE-EARTH ELEMENTS AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SAID SILICATE

FIELD: physics.;SUBSTANCE: luminophors based on a complex silicate of rare-earth elements have stoichiometric formula SrY_4(1-x)Eu_4x(SiO₄)₃O, where 0.1≤x≤0.8. Method of producing said silicates involves preparation of an initial mixture of ingredients containing SrY₄(SiO₄)₃O and SrEu₄(SiO₄)₃O, taken in ratio of (0.2-0.9):(0.1-0.8), thorough mastication in the presence of ethanol, burning in air at temperature 1350-1450°C for 35-40 hours and grinding the mixture after 5 and 10 hours of burning.;EFFECT: obtaining luminophor with high luminous intensity in the red region and low intensity of orange luminescence, suitable for operation in air at normal pressure.;2 cl, 1 dwg, 3 ex
