FIELD: physics, radio.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio communication engineering, more specifically to measurement of parametres of shortwave radio channels, primary their amplitude-frequency characteristics, and can be used for monitoring the ionosphere or ionospheric shortwave radio channels. To achieve the result, a simultaneous probing mode on several fixed frequencies is used, as well as incoherent signal accumulation (tilt sounding oscilloscope trace) at each of the frequencies for time sufficient for obtaining reliable estimation of the average value in fast fading conditions. The obtained data are used to plot amplitude versus frequency curves in which sections between measurement points are plotted through interpolation using models of ionospheric channels. Amplitude-frequency characteristics of noise and interference are plotted from results of multifrequency measurements in intervals between probing sessions.;EFFECT: possibility of plotting amplitude-frequency characteristics of communication channels and increasing accuracy of measuring noise with high accuracy and sensitivity of measuring average amplitude values of useful signals.;4 dwg
