FIELD: radio engineering.;SUBSTANCE: manufacturing method of variable cross-section waveguide is implemented in the following way: the tube from which the waveguide will be made is installed on mandrel. The device representing two pins adjoining throughout the length is introduced inside the tube. Some ends of pins are fixed in the mandrel, thus providing the possibility of angular movement of pins. To the other pins there applied are opposite directed forces perpendicular to the plane of contact of pins.;EFFECT: reduction of material consumption and simplification of the manufacturing procedure of waveguide.;1 dwg
