METHOD FOR RECYCLING OF RADIOACTIVE CONTAMINATED ELASTRON

FIELD: power engineering.;SUBSTANCE: elastron is removed from object, cut into pieces for transportation, delivered to recycling area and recycled. In process of recycling elastron is decontaminated in washing machine used to wash and decontaminate clothes, having previously separated it into granules, diametre of which exceeds diametre of washing machine drum holes by at least 10%. Afterwards it is washed with water, dried and packed into transport containers.;EFFECT: environmental safety of contaminated elastron recycling process and production of secondary raw materials in the form of elastron granules.;1 dwg
