FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to functional diagnostics, and can be used for the outcome prediction in recurrent myocardial infarction in patients with postinfarction cardiosclerosis. A routine echocardiography is applied for a resting patient to measure E/A that is a relation of maximum flow rate of early diastolic filling to maximum flow rate of auricular systole. Thereafter, an isometric exercise is made by lifting a leg to 30° from a horizontal plane, and on the 7th minute of the exercise, the E/Aexer relation that is maximum flow rate of early diastolic filling related to maximum flow rate of auricular systole with underlying exercise is determined again. The derived indices are used in formula: E/Aexer - E/Arest If the difference ≥0.6, a fatal outcome of recurrent myocardial infarction is predicted.;EFFECT: method is simple, noninvasive, allows detecting a group of patients with high risk of the fatal outcome of recurrent myocardial infarction, even provided that the rest transmitral flow characteristics are within the age norm, revaluating the risk in dynamics considering the functional condition of lateral myocardium and clinical effectiveness.;3 ex, 1 tbl
