FIELD: oil and gas industry.;SUBSTANCE: method involves well drilling, formation of tiers of process channels within one formation, pumping of steam to the main process channels, pumping of heated high-viscosity oil with a pump from additional process channels by having divided the formed tiers of process channels with a packer. According to invention, prior to installation of packer, there decreased is hydrodynamic fluid level in the well to minimum possible. High-viscosity oil is pumped from time to time to maintain minimum possible level of the well fluid for normal operation of the pump so that between the main and additional process channels there created is extended condensation zone of pumped water vapour with no water available in it. At that, oil is pumped from the well and vapour is pumped to the main process channels till temperature and pressure in the well is stabilised.;EFFECT: increasing heating efficiency of porous medium with vapour and increasing filtration speed of oil to additional channels at thermal steam action on formation.;1 dwg
