The element i.e. packaging insert (1), has a flat blank with a bar (2) comprising an opening (5), in which an object (30) is stored in a mounting position. A safety projection (6) provided on a side of the opening is formed in a resiliently deformable manner. The projection deforms during storing process of object under pressure in a storing direction. The projection is resettable to an original form to secure the stored object in the mounting position after reaching the mounting position or after partial removal of pressure. The element is made from cardboard or laminated cardboard. An independent claim is also included for a packaging comprising a folding box.
