The device (1) has a mobile indicator displaced along a guide-mark (5) to indicate a power reserve, and a power reserve indicating mechanism provided with a mobile indicator. The indicators are moved together, when the stress of a spring of a barrel is sufficient for assuring reliable operation of a timepiece. The indicators respectively correspond to hands (2, 4) or disks. The latter indicator is moved, when the stress of the spring of the barrel is not sufficient for assuring reliable operation of the timepiece.
