The arrangement has an upper container (2) with a projecting flat part (1) provided at a two-third height such that the upper container with the flat part lies at an upper edge of a lower container (5) during stacking of the containers. The containers e.g. glasses, are filled with liquids e.g. coffee and tea, and are stacked on an upper stacking position and a lower stacking position, respectively. The upper container has a base (3) projecting into an interior of the lower container, where a base (4) of the lower container forms a standing surface for the stacked containers.
