The method involves generating an updraft field by air or gas that has less density than the air in normal condition. Rotating initial amount of air or gas is created, where the air is hotter than ambient air. Relative humidity of the initial amount of air or gas is avoided by heating in a first container, and is increased by humidification in a second container. The initial amount of air or gas is raised in a third container, and draws the ambient air during raising so that cloud formation is taken place by condensation above the third container. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing a method for forming an artificial cloud for reflection of solar power.
