The device has an image detection device and an image processing device staying in connection with an operation microscope and a machine-human-interface. The machine-human-interface transmits information for quality assurance of handles (7) to a surgeon in case of operation. The operation microscope is provided with a beam splitter and illumination sources for contrast illumination in an infrared-region. A polarization filter is connected upstream to the illumination sources and/or the image detection device to increase illumination contrast.
