The method involves modifying shade data of notes of a computer file permitting a mechanical piano to execute a bit of piano music by producing shades adapted to the played music. An audio of the mechanical piano executing the bit of piano music contained in the modified computer file, is recorded. The recorded audio is transmitted under the form of a computer audio file from a music recording studio towards a site of a user of a piano recording service via internet.
