The movement has an energy source for driving current hour indication units by a finishing gear-train, and an alarm mechanism programmable by a user for activating a tone alarm (38) at a predefined instant. The mechanism has an alarm gear train (57) kinematically connected to drive units formed by an hour alarm wheel (14) and a minute alarm wheel. The drive units drive additional indicator units for displaying hour and minute of a temporal period whose limit corresponds to the instant. Regulation units are activated by the user and act on the train for regulating value of the period.
