A process for the volume - - magnetic resonance spectroscopy with reduced artefacts, comprising the steps of:a) placing an object to be imaged in a static magnetic field,b) applying a sequence of three high-frequency - pulses to the object in the presence of three section selection gradient along each of the three principal axes, wherein each of the high frequency - pulse a plane along an axis, which is collected an echo from a volume of interest to excite,c) phases - encoding of the cuts, which are composed of the first section selection gradient and the third section selection gradient, with a resolution greater than or equal to a volume element size for the resolution and to the removal of volume artifacts andd) detecting a localized spectrum signal from a volume which, by means of each of the excited columns is crossed, and further dissolution of any desired artefacts outside of the selected volume by a phase - coding along the first and third section selection gradient - axis.
