Fuel injector, particularly, common-rail injector for injecting fuel into combustion chamber of internal combustion engine, has multi-part injection valve element adjustable between closed position and open position
The fuel injector has a multi-part injection valve element (10) adjustable between a closed position and an open position, where a piston body (13) is provided with a jet needle body (14) lying in closing position at a needle seat (15) in a sealing manner and lifted at an opening point from the needle seat. The coupling element is formed as a spring element (50) prolonging the opening point.
