The device e.g. holder (20) has disk-, fin- or burl-shaped flexible molded parts (3) spaced from each other and laterally stuck together parallel to product support surfaces. The molded parts are provided for opening and closing the device. The parts are enabled to accommodate and hold product cross-sections formed in different size and geometry during insertion of a product i.e. medical instrument, for producing different opening areas (7) and enabling holding types. The parts are spaced from a base of a base element (1), and provided with round-, acute- or flat ends (4).
