The method comprises friction-stir welding two aircraft fuselage segments with a tool producing a frictional heat for partial plasticizing of edge areas of one of the segments and a counter bearing for the reception of power exercised through the tool on one of the both segments. One of the segments comprises a frame and/or a stringer, which are used as counter bearing. The frame (17) and/or stringer (16) is dimensioned on one of the segments so that it receives the power of the flight operation and the counter power. The method comprises friction-stir welding two aircraft fuselage segments with a tool producing a frictional heat for partial plasticizing of edge areas of one of the segments and a counter bearing for the reception of power exercised through the tool on one of the both segments. One of the segments comprises a frame and/or a stringer, which are used as counter bearing.
