The sealing strip has a set of insertion slot (16,17) for insertion of the strip on vehicle body flanges (18,19). An insertion slot (15) receives an arm (14) of a trim strip (11) and extends parallel to the slots (16,17). The trim strip forms a clamping element that clamps an area of the sealing strip between the flanges and the arm, under fastening of the sealing strip on the flanges. The area is located between the slots. The trim strip has an arm (12) forming a visible surface (13). The arms are provided at a distance from each other.
