The device has a sliding base (2) e.g. guide rail, running along a hulk, and a sliding anchor i.e. ring, movable along the sliding base and fastened to the sliding base. A mooring unit (7) is connected with the sliding anchor, and comprises a fastening unit i.e. becket, at an end, where distance between the sliding anchor and the fastening part is adjustable over a rope. The sliding base is provided with a positionable stop mechanism.
