The sealing arrangement (10) has a brush seal (13) with bristles (17), which is arranged partially in a receiving space (14) of a housing (12). The free ends of the bristles project out of the receiving space of the housing. The bristles are formed as plastic fibers. The thickness of the bristles lies between 0.005 and 0.05 millimeter. The bristles are available in the brush seal in a density of 500 to 10000 bristles per millimeter of sealing length.
