The lid (4) has a mounting (2) movable between a closing position overstretching a passenger compartment (5) and an opening position stored in a storage area (6) of the mounting. Bearing elements (9, 10) operate the lid from a basic position (Gst) into a front lifted movement position (Bst) for a movable roof (3) and a rear lifted loading position for movable articles of the area. The bearing elements have bearing retainers (11, 12) and bearing journals (13, 14) that are provided in a steering wheel transmission (15). The elements and the transmission adjust the positions of the lid.
