The magazine (20) has retainers (90) provided with removal openings, and a base support (25) for supporting the retainers that hold yarn carriers (10, 11). The removal openings are successively movable to an output station (69), which includes an output plate (70) with a closable output opening (71). Carriers (50, 60) are attached to the base support, and are rotatable around an axis. The output plate retains a motor (80) for rotating of the carriers (50, 60). The retainers are lowerable for filling with the yarn carriers relative to a rewinding machine.
