The method involves displaying graphical representations of actual adjustment of a headlight light cone on a variable graphic display device (2) provided in a vehicle. Control information of user of the vehicle is detected, where the control information comprises a selection of desired adjustment of the headlight cone. The headlight cone is adjusted by adjusting a headlight light cone for right traffic and a headlight light cone for left-hand traffic in dependence of the detected control information. An independent claim is also included for a headlight cone adjusting system comprising a variable graphic display device.
