The method comprises providing an article to be plated made of metallic or non-metallic materials, pre-plating for the formation of pre-plated metallic layer on a surface of the article to be plated, where the surface of the article to be plated is non-oxidized and acid degradation is not required, printing with a non-electric conductive oil ink on a part surface of the pre-plated metallic layer for the formation of an electric printing layer, and electric plating on a non-printing portion of the pre-plated metallic layer for the formation of an electric plated layer. The method comprises providing an article to be plated made of metallic or non-metallic materials, pre-plating for the formation of pre-plated metallic layer on a surface of the article to be plated, where the surface of the article to be plated is non-oxidized and acid degradation is not required, printing with a non-electric conductive oil ink on a part surface of the pre-plated metallic layer for the formation of an electric printing layer, and electric plating on a non-printing portion of the pre-plated metallic layer for the formation of an electric plated layer and for creating a thickness of the plated layer that is larger than the electrically printed layer. The material of the metallic pre-plated layer is nickel, semi-bright nickel and copper. The material of the metallic plated article is copper or iron.
