The device (1) has a multi-fold cover frame (5) in which a device insert (3) is installed. The frame comprises multiple labeling fields (7), which are illuminated by a LED-light source (6). Flexible fiber-optic cables (13-15) are fastened in a rear side of the cover frame for each labeling field. The light source irradiates light into an end of each cable. A firm light guiding body (10) is assigned to the labeling fields. Another end of each cable flows into a front side recess of the labeling fields to radiate light into a front surface (21) of the light guiding body. The fiber-optic cables are made of polymers.
