The station has a transportation arrangement for transporting a developer mixture (4) from a carrier (5) and an image toner (6). An ink roller (3) moves the mixture to a developer roller (10), so that the toner runs to the developer roller in a transition region (14). A magnet unit is arranged adjacent to the ink roller before the transition region in a rotation direction of the ink roller. The magnet unit exerts a magnetic force in a direction to the ink roller in such a manner that the mixture aligns on the ink roller before the transition region on an upper surface (7).
