The unit (10) has a deflection roller (32) arranged at a valve housing (12), and displaced between two end positions by a control element (34). The deflection roller releases a connection channel (44) between an inlet opening (20) and an outlet opening (22) in one of the end positions, and locks the connection channel in another end position. The deflection roller forms another connection channel (46) between the opening (20) and another outlet opening (26) in the latter end position. The control element comprises an electromagnet and a plunger (38) with a ferromagnetic area. The deflection roller and a guide plate consist of ceramics.
