The mobile phone has solar cells (2) integrated for permanently charging a battery provided in the phone. The solar cells are arranged in a rear side of the phone. The battery is alternatively charged using the integrated solar cells or a mains supply part. A display e.g. LCD, is attached at a front side of the phone.
