The method involves assigning tasks to processing units, and assigning the tasks to processes of operating systems. A checking is made whether the provided assignment of the tasks to the processes fulfills a predefined time criteria. Costs associated with the assignment of the tasks to the processes are calculated when the criteria fulfills the tasks. The assignment of the tasks to the units and processes, the determination of the criteria fulfillment and the costs calculation are repeated with additional assignment of the tasks, until the costs fulfills a predefined resolution criteria.
