The component has an insert (2) formed as a bush element (1) e.g. threaded bushing, and made of plastic e.g. thermoplastic. A plastic outer body surrounds the insert. The outer body is injected at the insert by injection molding process so that rigidity of the plastic used for the insert is higher than rigidity of the plastic used for the outer body. The bush element has a radial holding contour (3) and a axial holding contour (4) for establishing a fixed connection between the bush element and the outer body. The plastic for the bush element is reinforced with glass fiber and/or carbon fiber. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a mounting component.
