The system has a filter system (4) formed from red, green, blue and weight color filters, which are infrared-permeable. An evaluation arrangement (5) has a compensating unit for compensating the infrared parts, where a lens (2) and a photo sensor (3) are arranged in the system. The evaluation arrangement is designed for optimizing contrast in high dynamic range. Multiple driver assistance systems are arranged close to a display (6). The evaluation arrangement has an automatic circuit for representing image in black and weight or color. An independent claim is also included for a method for representing images using a camera system.
