The vehicle (1) has a folding roof (9) movable between a closed position and an opened position, and a rollover protection device (15) formed as a module, where the rollover protection device is arranged in a body (3) of the vehicle. The rollover protection device is movable from a retracted position to an extended position during dangerous conditions of the vehicle. A channel is formed for receiving transporting objects (Tg) e.g. luggage and furniture pieces, and is arranged between a lower edge (16) of the rollover protection device and parts of the body lying opposite to the lower edge.
