The vehicle has an energy storage (2) e.g. vehicle battery, arranged in a seating space (1), and an air-conditioning device connected with a passenger compartment, a storage compartment (3) and the seating space via connecting units (5). A distribution unit (4) is provided in the connecting units, where the distribution unit distributes a cooling air stream to the storage compartment and to the seating space. The seating space exhibits a cover (6), which causes homogeneous distribution of the cooling air stream into the seating space. An independent claim is also included for a method for cooling a seating space of an electrical energy storage of a motor vehicle.
