The element i.e. receptacle element (1), has two receptacles (1a) for strip shaped printed circuit boards (3). Two contact elements (2) i.e. spring contactless, double sided cable contact element, are provided in interior of the receptacle elements. The contact elements contact the boards in multiple poles, where a distance of the contact elements is adjusted relative to a thickness of the boards. A width and/or height of the receptacles corresponds to a width and the thickness of the boards. A passage hole is provided for retaining a fastening unit (6). An independent claim is also included for an illuminating element comprising a hollow body.
