The system has a multi-axle, three-dimensionally movable robot arm, and an image recording system fastened at a distal end of the robot arm by a fastening element (6). The image recording system includes a c-arm (12), an X-ray source (13) and an X-ray detector (14). A supply line (11) e.g. cable, is connected with the image recording system for supplying power to the image recording system. Guide elements (15) are rotatably fastened to the robot arm at a point outside the fastening element for guiding the supply line, where the supply line is movably arranged within the guide elements.
