The element (1) has connecting piece (5) projecting to a base (2) and arranged in the base. The piece is connected with the base using a coupling device (13). The coupling device is provided between the connecting piece and the base in a liquid-tight and/or gas-tight manner or torque-proof manner. The coupling device has coupling elements (14, 15) which are cooperatively arranged at the base and the connecting piece respectively. The coupling element (14) is arranged predominantly planar to an outer lateral area of the base and extends in a direction of an interior circumscribed by the base. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a storage element.
