The system has a roof area overstretching a storage space e.g. silage bale store, where the roof area is formed from roof modules (2) that are arranged together. A gap is provided between the roof modules and is covered in the roof area by a cover (13), where the cover is arranged at one of the roof modules. The roof modules and/or a base element (4) arranged at the roof modules are partially made of aluminum. The roof modules are detachably connected with the base element by a coupling element (3) e.g. pin. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a front loading tool for lifting and moving of loads and for assembly and/or disassembly of a storage system (2) a method for providing a storage.
