Magnetic inductive flow meter for measuring flow of e.g. liquid, in e.g. industrial application, has yoke formed at pole cores for formation of magnetic circuit, and cores forming molding part made of ferrite-plastic-composite material
The meter has a electromagnetic unit (2) attached outside a measuring pipe (1) and comprising electrical coils (3a, 3b) for generating a magnetic field that is aligned perpendicular to flow direction of a measuring medium (4) passing through the pipe. A magnet yoke (7) is formed as a magnetic flow guidance unit at pole cores (6a, 6b) assigned to the coils for formation of outer magnetic circuit. The cores form a molding part made of ferrite-plastic-composite material such as nickel/zinc ferrite, manganese/zinc ferrite or epoxy resin. The pipe has an electrical insulator lined with a metal.
