The system (1) has an information storage e.g. radio frequency identification (RFID) tag, a measuring system (11) for measuring local solar radiation, and an input unit (17) for inputting a user-specific parameter e.g. skin type. A processing unit (12) calculates a maximum sunbath period of a user based on the measured solar radiation and the user-specific parameter. A communication unit (13) transmits the maximum sunbath period to a mobile element (2) i.e. global system for mobile communicationsmobile telephone, that releases an alarm, when the maximum sunbath period is reached.
