The conveyor has a drive roller (2) and a guide roller (3) supported in a housing (1). A traction unit (4) is guided across the drive roller and the guide roller, where an upper section of the traction unit is guided across an upper-sided free accessible sliding path (8). The sliding path is designed in sections as a cooling surface of a heat exchanger, which is attached to a refrigerant cycle of the cooling device and guided by a liquid single-phase or multi-phase refrigerant. Cooling channels (10) extend in a transportation direction of the traction unit.
