The air guiding device (1) has a spoiler (4), which is movable from a resting position to an operating position and vice versa by an adjusting device. An adjustable tearing edge (6) is arranged at the spoiler with respect to a body of a motor vehicle (3) or the spoiler. The adjusting movement of the tearing edge takes place during the adjusting movement of the spoiler or after reaching operating position of the spoiler.
