The unit e.g. printing unit (1), has drive units including an electric motor (M) to which a power unit and a control unit are attached, where the power unit is supplied with power. The control unit controls movement characteristics of the power unit. The motor together with the power unit and the control unit form a single assembly. A set of data that are supplied to the control unit are directed via a hybrid line that supplies electrical power by the power unit. The drive units are connected to the line. The power unit and the control unit are arranged in a housing.
