The injector has an injector body (10) including an inlet line (12) staying in connection with a high pressure chamber (11) inside the body. A nozzle needle (13) is stroke-adjustably supported in the body and suspended with a control surface (18) of a control area (16). The control area is loaded with pressures by a control valve (20) via a draining channel (28) having a draining throttle (29). The area is hydraulically connected with the chamber via an inlet channel (30) having an inlet throttle (32). The inlet channel is guided by a combustion chamber-far end of the needle.
