Use of a composition comprising one or more of methacrylic acid and methacrylic acid ester as a medicament for topical treatment of fungal disease of the foot and/or fingernails, is claimed. An independent claim is included for a kit comprising (a) the composition and (b) a sealing gel, which is suitable to a mechanically roughened foot or nail on which the composition of component (a) has been applied to seal against external influences. ACTIVITY : Fungicide. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
