Fuel injector, particularly common rail injector for injecting fuel into combustion chamber of internal combustion engine, comprises two injector valve element units that are coupled together over hydraulic coupler
The fuel injector (1) comprises two injector valve element units (17,19) that are coupled together over a hydraulic coupler (26) limited by one of the leakage gaps (52,53). The hydraulic coupler and a closing throttle (8) are designed on one another in aligned manner, such that temperature sensitive, hydraulic effect is compensated at the hydraulic coupler and at the closing throttle such that the injection quantity is extensive in the temperature area and unaffected by the hydraulic effects. An independent claim is included for a design method for laying a fuel injector.
