Method for environment recognition for navigation system in car, involves storing data of object or feature in storage, and classifying object or feature by comparison of data after visual inspection of object or feature
The method involves storing data of an object or a feature in a storage. The object or the feature is classified by comparison of the data stored in the storage after visual inspection of the object or the feature. The object or the feature is recorded in a digital card of a navigation device, and the data is derived from two time points from a sensor (11) e.g. light detection and ranging sensor, and/or is computed from sensor data of the sensor. The classification is associated with probability or reliability for a right classification. An independent claim is also included for a device for environment recognition for a system to be moved.
