The method involves inputting a set of data of four sensors (3) i.e. temperature sensors (4), in any alignment of measuring locations (6, 8, 10, 12) of an evaluation device (16), where the measuring locations are assigned to the sensors. The data are utilized and sorted to each other according to estimated relation of the data. The estimated relation is formed as a large relation. The data are sorted by increasing or decreasing value and registered in a memory array. The data from the memory array are resorted according to the estimated relation and stored in another storage array.
