The method comprises supplying a prepared fiber material suspension to a machine (1) for the production of colored material web (18), where a side of the material web within the machine is colored for the production of the material web by applying a medium. The medium is applied by coating aggregate working in contactless manner. The medium comprises color pigments and/or color materials and/or is free from filling material. A curtain coating aggregate or spray coating aggregate is used as coating aggregate. A nozzle humidifier is used with a two-material nozzle. The method comprises supplying a prepared fiber material suspension to a machine (1) for the production of colored material web (18), where a side of the material web within the machine is colored for the production of the material web by applying a medium. The medium is applied by coating aggregate working in contactless manner. The medium comprises color pigments and/or color materials and/or is free from filling material. A curtain coating aggregate or spray coating aggregate is used as coating aggregate. A nozzle humidifier is used with a two-material nozzle and/or with pneumatic atomizer nozzles. The nozzle humidifier is produced in the spray stream of droplets, with an average diameter of 10-50 mu m. The distance of the nozzle to web is adjusted to 60-150 mu m, where 10-50 nozzles are used per meter diagonally to the running direction of the material web. Both sides of the material web are colored. The coating of the medium is simultaneously or successively carried out. The coloring is carried out through coating of media of different colors or same color after the principle of additive color mixing. The material web is colored in a dry content of less than 70%. The medium is subjected in the area of an exhausted device (15, 16) below the edge section of the material web. The color location of the colored material web is determined by a scanner and the color transverse- and/or color longitudinal profile is regulated. The color coating is controlled in transverse- and/or longitudinal direction for obtaining color patterns on the material web.
