The measuring device has a detection unit (2) fixed at a side of a tire (1) manufactured from deformable material, where the tire is rotatably arranged around a center point (3) of a hub (4) that is in contact with the tire. The detection unit is circularly and centrically arranged around the center point. A measurement plane is aligned orthogonal to a movement direction of the center point. Sensors (7, 8) are located in the measurement plane and are designed for distance and/or angle determination and measurement e.g. optical angle measurement.
