摘要

The rotor (8) i.e. claw pole rotor (7), has a balancing point i.e. balancing borehole, lying in a transient area of adjacent claw-like pole fingers (16). The balancing point extends inside radially into a material of the rotor, where the balancing point is produced by a machining process. The balancing effect is determined by depth and diameter of the balancing borehole. A pole core (17) is arranged between pole halves (15), and supports at pole core bearing surfaces of the pole halves. The balancing point is formed by removing the material. An independent claim is also included for a method for balancing a rotor of an electrical machine.
